About Marj

Marj is a painter based in Canada whose work celebrates the everyday beauty she is grateful for.

Painting began as a quiet hobby — a few hours at the kitchen table with a set of brushes — and grew into a lifelong practice. Today Marj works mainly in acrylic and oil, painting landscapes, gardens, flowers and the small details that make a place feel like home.

The name Thankful Art comes from the way each painting starts: with a moment Marj is thankful for. She hopes that when a painting finds its new home, it carries a little of that gratitude with it.

Studio

Marj paints from her home studio. Studio visits are welcome by appointment — please get in touch to arrange a time.
